We are thrilled to welcome back our dear sister Caitlyn Howe - aka The Poet Queen - as co-facilitator for this magical journey.

Caitlyn Howe in a writer, guide, and ritual artist. An avid advocate for audacity in self-expression, interpersonal healing, and self reclamation to live a heart-centered life. She works with the art of words, the power of love, and the life force energy of emotions as a transformational facilitator. Caitlyn’s life and personal creative journey has been deeply impacted by her journey with ayahuasca medicine and her deep resonance with Shipibo indigenous wisdom.

Leading up to the in-person event, Caitlyn will hold a virtual community container of preparation and integration, guiding you through practices that inquire into the depths of your psyche, awaken your voice, deepen your relationship to ritual, and help uncover hidden truths. During the retreat she will lead expressive workshops woven with creativity, poetry, and embodied ceremony to help you reconnect with your deepest heart’s wisdom and reclaim a life of full-bodied aliveness.

At Anam Cara, every retreat is curated with the utmost integrity and deep respect for the curanderos (traditional medicine practitioners) and the indigenous plant medicine they steward.

We are honored and blessed to work with some of the world’s most talented Shipibo Curanderos, who are truly life family to us. The incredible nature-centered healing wisdom they carry in their lineage will be woven within and without the ceremony space, creating ample time to deepen and connect to ancient tradition and the Maestros themselves.

The medicine used in our retreats is handcrafted in sacred ceremony by our curanderos, utilizing sustainable extraction methods and prepared in alignment with the wisdom and traditions of its indigenous keepers.
